I recently set up my Neo 2.0 and I'm mostly happy but there is one big exception. The black bar auto refill isn't working properly for me. The lights on the bottom of the tv don't light up for higher aspect ratio videos (as most of my movies are). The top and sides are fine.
It doesn't matter if it is Netflix, Prime, or my own videos through Kodi. The input is an Nvidia shield.
He is what I see.

And here is 16:9 working properly just to show that the lights on the bottom are working.

In both examples the brightness slider is at 100%. The TV is 85" and the kit is 61 - 90".
Is there a solution for this problem?
Thanks for the response.
The lighting does not work when the videos I've tested are wider than 16:9. This has been every movie I've tested with so far on Netflix and Prime and my own movies. You say that 21:9 is supported so I'm assuming these videos are not 21:9 ratio. If they aren't then they must be close but I don't know what they are or how to know. I'm not sure if I can zoom in/out to change the ratio to 16:9 or 21:9 but I don't want to do that even if I could. Are other people having this same issue with Netflix videos?
Hi there,
Thx for the providing information. May I know if all video does not work the bottom bar?
For the black bars refill, the R&D team considers that the source of the movie is either 21:9 or 16:9 ratio. (Only the black bars refill algorithm is added on the top and bottom sides)
Judging from the aspect ratio, it is caused by switching back and forth between 16:9 and 21:9. May I kindly know if this happens in any video or mode? Is it possible to fix the aspect ratio?
