Hi I am using apple tv, ps4, nintendo switch and set-top box for lg oled 65 tv.
All of these input sources are being output to the homepod mini through Apple TV arc.
Can I keep my current arc system while using neo2.0?
Is it possible with a 4x2 splitter? If possible, which order is right for me?
It's amusing that we have come full circle and now need an HDMI Video Return Channel, or HDMI monitor port that echos the TV's screen and audio over an HDMI out port. That way we can setup all our TV input sources, and even use the built-in Smart TV app and then connect the HDMI Monitor port to the NEO to react to whatever is on the screen. I remember when TVs came with audio out and component video monitor ports that nobody used.
I am in a similar boat. It's near impossible to find a video switch box that supports HDMI-CEC and even harder to find one where the switch ports are selectable by the TV. My old Sony and Toshiba's did this, where the TV would show me all the AVR sources, and I could switch sources from the TV. I no longer use an AVR, I just use a sound bar via HDMI-ARC + CEC to mange things when possible. 4 HDMI switchers in, and even when they Support CEC, it doesn't work. Should I find one that does, the next challenge will be to locate an HDMI splitter that passes ARC/CEC data along a primary link, and send the video from the monitor port to the NEO. Until then, I am using NEO for controlling just the PS5 input.
Hi there.
I am afraid Neo does not support ARC currently.
For the HDMI splitter, I have attached the possible way for your reference:
Hope it helps:)
