Hi, received my Neo today and after all day trying it I just can't get it to connect to the app. My home is all smart home items from a variety of different companies so I'm pretty competent at set ups usually. I've tried a couple of different 2.4 ghz network and it won't work on any. Initially when everything is plugged in, the LED strips do not light up at all and the power light just flashes. If I unplug the HDMI output cable (to my TV) one of the LED strips fully lights up, the other lights about 4 or 5 LED's (at the beginning nearest to the USB connector), if I switch the USB's round the same strip lights up so I'm guessing something is wrong with the strip that only lights a few LED? When I do this the power light stops flashing and remains solid and the wifi light flashes (I'm assuming to pair)
The app doesn't pick it up automatically, I have tried manually lots of times and it just won't find it. When I try on an android device it gets nowhere. If I try on an IOS device it ticks "Find device" then at 50% it ticks "Registration" but then gets nowhere it reaches 100% and pops up "Network connection failed, please check if the device is connected."
I've tried via Tuya Smart app, which I have a number of devices already on, I'm not sure what device I should be looking for but have tried several lights both wifi and BLE and it doesn't find it. My bluetooth is on and I have tried all the items next to each other so not sure what else I can do to get it working! Any help would be appreciated
Hi,

Does anyone get this thing to work. It’s a waste of money
@Lytmi Hi my lytmi neo sync box wont turn on the lights, and the app wont find my setup.. only the power turns on. whats going on ?
I am also having trouble with the App but will make a separate thread.
Here is a video of me plugging the input (and everything else) in before connecting the power. As you can see only the power light flashes and it is not found. If i begin again and leave the "output" hdmi cable unplugged before i power on then the wifi light flashes. I open the app and search but it finds nothing. I think the unit might be faulty?
Hi thanks for the quick reply. Yes i set up and plugged everything in before i search on the app. If the output HDMI is plugged in though it doesnt search for wifi, the power light just flashes. If i take it out the wifi light flashes and searches but then i open the app and search and it doesnt find anything. I've also tried reinstalling the app on different devices.
The side light (stuck on right side) lights up when plugged in either USB. The bottom light only lights a few LEDs no matter which USB its in.
Here is a short video just showing what happens when the HDMI output is plugged in

Hi there,
Thanks for your message.
I noticed that you mentioned that the network indicator has been flashing. Please note that if the WIFI light flashes quickly, it means it is searching for WIFI.
And you also mentioned that one of the light strips has only a few LEDs. If the light is still being connected for calibration, I am afraid that the box cannot detect the light strip, and the sync box cannot be searched in the APP.
Make sure search the device on the APP ONLY AFTER connecting and turning on the light strips. Otherwise, Neo cannot be found on the APP.
If it still does not work, please provide a small video of the connection of your sync box, LED strips and devices. Our support team would love to assist you by the video you provided.
