    HDR does not work.

    in General Discussion

On my PS4,PS5 I had to turn off HDR in order to get an image, any solution? The unit does advertise as HDR compatible.

When HDR is enabled on the TV (Samsung MU9000) there is no image. btw I have another TV Philips with ambilght and what you wrote about the HDR faded light is not true - on the Philips all content ambilight looks amazing. I can add video if you like.

I had a similar problem connecting my PC, when using the Neo box my TV could not see the PC connection at all. I saw others used a HDMI splitter. PC in two ports out, one goes directly to the TV, the other goes to the HDMI IN on the NEO box. The HDMI out on the NEO is not needed in this setup.

    Hi there.

May I know is the TV won't support HDR when pass through NEO or only the color display faintly?

It's normal for HDR colors to display faintly. Because compared with SDR, HDR is white light brightening. I suggest you can set SDR for comparison. HDR light color will be faded and lighter than SDR. Because HDR has increased white light, and it leads to a little chromatic aberration.

We are responsible for any quality related issue. Could you attach a small video to display your problem clearly?

    Dear Elior,

I am afraid it involves some setting of HDR on the TV. Kindly refer to the similar situation on this post: https://www.play3.de/forum/index.php?%2Ftopic%2F219787-gel%C3%B6st-sonytv-und-ps5-4k-und-hdr-gleichzeitig-geht-nicht%2F&fbclid=IwAR3GfBJSvfa4FPNovQkXBdhRi9_vFMumUZYm6RG8Lws6JaaxhiAULg9X0Xg
