I got my neo 2.0 almost 2 weeks ago but I‘ve not managed to get the quality out of it as I would expect. I tried better HDMI cables but this seems not the issue. Major issues:
black screen of the dolby vision demo video gives green led lights. This happens when playing in HDR with the Dolby vision app on Apple TV. When playing other 4K videos which are non HDR this is Mostly not the case.

issue 2: check below pictures of SDR vs HDR. SDR gives far more color to the LED strips then HDR. It’s clearly visible in the bottom of the screen.
SDR:

HDR:

HDR, DV and SDR material are using different colorspaces and gamma curves. It looks like the conversion is wrong or not implemented. I would say the led stripes prozessing must be done in SDR BT.709.
SDR ambiligt looks really great wit this box. But it never supports HDR or DV with accurate color processing 😂😂.
This is company bullshit 👌
It looks like they just changed the HDMI chips to support 2.0 and did no refactoring of the color processing for HDR and DV sources.
The implementation is really poor!! Low and wrong colors are the result. So I don't think there's is a way to fix this per firmware?! Perhaps the color processing is hardware only to be faster and can't be changed 😛... I don't know...
Perhaps somebody must open the Neo 1.4 and 2.0 and have a look what is changed.
Is LytMi really the manufacturer of the hole product? So if we know the chips we know what they have done 👌
