I have the problem with correct connection and working NEO box (LED strips) and OLED LG C1 where there are 4 HDMI IN (inputs) but all of them have 4K 120 Hz.
May be the problem is that LG has HDMI IN (all 4 intputs) with 4K 120Hz (instead of 60 Hz)?

According to the specification inputs have 2.1 version.
I tried to connect NEO with all HDMI inputs but the problem's result is the same - strips do not work when I choose Screen in the APP

Sorry for my English in video . It was usual picture on TV (even not HD)
Is it correct strip's working in Music Spectrum mode ?
Then I tried to watch video 4K from Youtube
and 4K film from USB
and the problem's result was the same - LED strips did not work
Looking at the video, where is the input connection of the box? I see only the output of the neo box connectet to the tv. You have to give the box a input signal.
For example firetv 4k -> Input Neo box and output neo box to TV.
I use the follwoing setup:
firetv 4k, Sat-Receiver and Xbox all connected to a pioner receiver, the output of the pioneer receiver is connected to the input of the neobox and the output of the neobox is connected to the tv.
I have a LG B2 and with me there is the problem that the Lytmi box can not process my Dolby Vision signal, the light works but is distorted (shows only purple and red). I use a splitter from Feintech there is my Apple TV connected, the splitter splits the HDMI signal to the Lytmi Neo Box and to the TV, because Lytmi does not support eArc. Is there a solution to get a Dolby Vision picture on the TV with working Ambilight?
These films (1 in BluRay format, 2 in mp4 and all - with DV) were on USB memory card.
I mentioned above (see page 1) that when I see the films from Dune (which was connected with TV directrly) then there is DV
But if I see the film drom Dune through Lytmi then there is NO DV
Thus the splitter solved the problem
But there is some small difference in DV signal
It is directly signal - STD after DV
it is after Lytmi box and splitter - LLDV
I do not know about this difference
(and it was without splitter but with Lytmi)
And above were info from DUNE
Below is the info from TV LGC1
what kind of signal does the tv get? that only shows what is being played.
Hi... here is my short report about DV
I have received the promissed splitter and tried it on
Now the cables is too long and I will change them for shorts
I tried 3 films and DV works with splitter !
in this case You have to use some external TV box where will be install APPs
How do I address the apps on the TV itself such as Youtube Netflix etc? Because this solution is only for the cable connection.
may be You have to find some splitter where INPUT will be for these cables and HDMI OUT for connection with Lytmi box
Via cable the local channels and via Internet (Wlan from the TV) Youtube, Netflix etc...
how do You watch TV ? By cable or internet ?
I plugged the included HDMI cable from Lytmi into the Neo Box Output and plugged it directly into the TV. As mentioned, the port input is free, because I do not really want to connect other devices. I bought this splitter: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07K2PW2RQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_5PPJE399FBZJFSW5K5CE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Do you have one that you can recommend?
The third source of picture must be here and should be connected into HDMI in of the box / Which does TV cable go to TV in your case ? Can You show it? May be some splitter will solve the problem ?
Hello all,
I bought the latest Neo Box with HDMI 2.0. Unfortunately I can not get the LEDs to work. I have the same problem as Igor it does not turn on to the screen.
I can control everything with the app everything works. When I go to "Screen" the leds go off and stay off.
I want the Neo Box to only sync the picture from the TV. Here I have the HDMI cables from output to TV and input is not connected, because I do not want to connect other devices (eg DVD player, XBox). So how do I connect it if I want only my TV to be synchronized?
I found the new problem !
The NEO box does not pass Dolby Vision in my case.
This picture is when I play the film from my player Dune HD REAL VISION 4K via NEO box
then I connected Dune to the TV directly and got the following pictures:
I have the one good HDMI cable only and I used it to connect the Dune either to the box or to the TV.
I also used NONAME the second HDMI cable and the cable from Lytmi set and the cable from Dune (from box to the TV) and No DV (the picture as on the first photo).
I'm waiting for the second good cable to try it again.
But it seems to me that the problem is not in the cable, but the matter is the inability of the NEO box to pass Dolby Vision
Yes, I use 48gbps cables (non-"certified" ones, though).
what HDMI cable do You use ? For 8K ?
PS: The strange thing is, that in 8k "mode" it works for several minutes - sometimes only 5, sometimes 45 - and then suddenly the lights go out.
If it wouldn't work at all, everything was perfectly logical to me...
If I activate the 8k enhanced option (even though it's only a 4k TV and 4k source material) i get ambilight blackouts after some time. If I "only" activate 4k enhanced everything works as intended. Maybe @Lytmi @Jack can deliver some technical background there. I would be really interested in getting some more information.
Greetings!
Do You mean that Marantz can pass 8K60Hz but NEO can pass 4K60p only?
What hdmi splitter do You use ?
Connecting o input device directly actually worked. What a pity, that this isn't an option for me at all.
So it had to be the Marantz manipulating the HDMI signal in a way, that the neo doesn't like. I went throug all the settings and actually found the option that seemed to to bother the sync box (see images attached, maybe of interest for other AVR/Processor users). No more blackout so far.👍 Now I hope I will get Dolby Vision vision working. Just contacted the support for the hdmi splitter.
Thanks and greetings,
Julian
