I had the same issue. It was becuase my Apple TV was/is using Dolby vision which the current boxes (neo 2.0) cannot handle. They are sending me a signal splitter to downgrade the Signal to the neo but not the tv. As a temporary solution you can change the video output to a different quality from the Apple TV (like hdr) which is working ok for me at the moment.
A video showing how exactly the cables are connected, and what's colors of the lights, and what's the input resource for example the call of duty, what's the settings of the TV, will be much helpful in identifying the problem quickly.
