    Lytmi PC Ambilight Desktop Software Download(updating...)

    Hi Guys, this is Jack, sorry about the repeated sending over of the PC ambilight (screen strip light, Alita..all mean the same thing) desktop software. Since the testing units you received are only prototype ones, so we have been updating continuously, especially the software.

    For example

    1. Version 1, solved the language problem, as it's reported pre-installation there are UI in Chinese.

    2. Version 2, solved the unintended blocking problem, when install the software, it will be blocked by Microsoft defender

    3. Version 3, solved the color latency problem caused by low computer configuration

    4. Version 4, solved the CPU overloading problem when the software is turned on. Before, there was no restrictions on the times that you open the software, so even you only got one PC monitor, you may click the desktop software multiple times by mistake. Right now, it will automatically detect how many monitors you have and set the times that you open the software, for example, if you have 3 monitors, then you can open the software 3 times at maximum.


    So, for those testers who might missed my emails with updated desktop software, you can always download from here.


    BTW, testing the software is also part of test that we wish you guys can help us in identifying any hidden problems or issues, thanks so much.

    Ive also had the lights turn on randomly in the middle of the night and more recently when I go to use my computer in the morning part of the strip is staying stuck on and what really needs to be addressed is whenever the computer goes into stand by the lights switch monitors and wont switch back until I reset my pc

    @Jack - that download link is to v1.01 - is that correct?

    Scrap that - seems to be the file name, but the version seems higher


    It's a blocked executable on my daily laptop - so will need to re-test on another later on...which kinda sucks

    It's been blocked by Cortex XDR over the contents of the application

    Music sync seems to be completely broken? Just getting random flickers of colour?


    Have restarted the light controller and re-plugged it all in

    Hi all,


    Anyone know how to adjust position of leds regardind tthe screen? Leds are currently no aligned with picture.


    As you see below, corner is past the corner into the right side

    I have a similar issue but it more looks like it is an software failure because the whole screen is yellow/green but on that positions its like the opposit color. Its also flickering while I used this Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u4UzzJZAUg


    In the video at the end there are a lot of color changes. The 4-7 LED's on the top right corner dont work right, they are flickering and changes to colors what dont match.

    Like in my mail, it seems that only the right side of the screen is used to calculate the colors which are then stretched on the whole LED STRIP.

    It happened to me; unplugging from the wall socket and plugging again, solved the issue
