Hey there!
I keep reading about people who have the older version of this (Neo HDMI v1.4) using some sort of splitter in order to gain a bit of extra function/capabilities with their setups. Well I just bought the newer version (Neo HDMI v2.0) and was curious if that was something I would still have a need for. I'm really just watching things via my Samsung Q80 smart TV through the apps installed on the TV (YouTube, Netflix, Prime, etc.). Also...my TV and PS4 are connected via HDMI to the back of my Home Theater Receiver that pretty much runs everything. Is this setup going to be an issue? If so...I figure I could always just run everything through the PS4 and call it good but was just curious how it all works. Thanks!
But will there be an update for that to work in the future
Hi there.
I believe Neo can work with the Home Theater Receiver as long as it is well connected. Here's the connection for reference:
For your in-built APP in the TV, I am afraid it cannot be synced with Neo. Neo sync box needs an external that uses HDMI cord.
