As we all know the Neo box has a lot of issues: no Dolby vision support, poor HDR quality and so on.
Has anyone complained about and actually got their money back? I'm afraid the company no longer exists because the support doesn't answer emails.
And what about the promised splitters? Does someone really got one from lytmi?
they promissed me to ship some splitter to get DV also. Waiting for shipping...
I got the splitter. It makes no difference. I also asked for another box. Don’t suppose that’ll make any difference either. i did ask for a refund. They said it was less hassle to get another box as id have to pay for return my old box. See my other post. We’ve had the wool pulled over our eyes. This is a rebadged con.
yes, perhaps their device does not give out the declared characteristics.
I will be able to assert this when I experience it myself. I agree that this is bad on their part.
Hi there.
Our R&D team has confirmed the customized splitter can work with Dolby Vision. We could offer free customized splitter for your Neo HDMI 2.0 version. Dolby Vision could be transmitted to TV through this customized splitter. I could apply the customized splitter for you if you want. Please let me know your order number.
It's normal for HDR colors to fade. Because compared with SDR, HDR is white light brightening. I suggest you can set SDR for comparison. HDR light color will be faded and lighter than SDR. Because HDR has increased white light, and it leads to a little chromatic aberration.
And also feel free to contact our support via email: support@light-mi.com
The customer service team will get you back in 24 hours.
Many thanks!
@Lytmi giving HDR the root cause of brighter colors is just bullshit...!
You guys needed to downscale HDR to SDR to get the best colors out of the LEDs.
I’m regretting that I didn’t buy Philips instead of this crap.
I already contacted the "support" four days ago! Still no answer. I will not publish my order number in a forum.
That you still advertise the Neo Box as Dolby Vision compatible is more than just shady business!
Luckily there is paypal buyer protection. I think i have to go this route.
