    Weekly Update(Dec.27- Dec.31): Hello, World of 2022

    in Weekly Update

Hi Guys, what’s up, this is Jack. Here is the Lytmi(Light Mi) weekly update.

New year is coming, are you ready for the pop, fizz, clink? Let’s toast to the future and usher in the New Year 2022. May it bring you and your family more happiness, success, love and blessings!

This week is relatively quiet without much "big" news.

    1. First, after weeks of all round rechecking, retesting and constant optimization of the products, we have resumed the shipment of NEO 2.0 and the free splitter (solution for Dolby Vision). So hopefully the problems will be reported less and less and the users' experience can be improved more and more.

    2. Second, again for the HDR issue, if you YT it of other competitor, you may notice the same issue, that HDR is paler, whiter and lighter than HDR mode. Though this is not a legitimate reason but it's a fact now for the HDR mode. Of course, we will release some comparison videos or pics to fully inform the potential customers of this fact before they made their choices.

Right now below is the best we can do to improve using various methods.

    3. Third, as there are so many messages flying whether via email, ins, fb, twit, forum...so it takes time for us to reply you the questions. While during this time maybe you can do some self checking or provide us more info. for example:

HDMI source device name (TV box name, game console name, etc.)

HDMI intermediate devices (whether there is an HDMI switcher, AVR, etc.)

HDMI end device (the model of the TV, the model of the monitor)

Input resource: like what movie are you watching, what's game you are playing

Cable connection: whether you connect 2 light strips first, then 2 HDMI cables, and finally the power source.

For other common issues, maybe you can refer to the following:

For flashing screen or sudden black screen, check whether it appears when starting the use of Neo, or appears after running the NEO for a certain period of time (probably how long neo is running), have you tried another HDMI cable

For WIFI lights and mode lights do not light up, make sure that the light strips are correctly connected: when Neo is powered on, the 2 light strips will start lighting and like chasing each other. The light strips will be breathing, and finally goes off

For TV does not output HDMI pics: check whether the HDMI wiring is correct, or replace the HDMI input source or try another HDMI cable

For HDMI device wiring methods, there are three.

    one:

    Two:

    Three:

Again, happy new year, everyone, may this coming year bless you with love, peace, and empowerment.

    Happy New Year, Lytmi community!

That's a great improvement in HDR performance, well done. When can we expect this upgrade?

Is there optimal guidance between setup 2 & 3? Should neo be between HMDI source and receiver or between receiver and TV?

should be the same with the diagram provided or it won't perform as it's supposed to

Hello. But how do we people with poor HDR get the improvement? We need a new box?

My order was picked up by the delivery company on 31st of December. Will include the splitter for Dolby Vision and the improved HDR or will be from the old batch? Wish a happy New Year to everyone!

I am afraid, the HDR is still from the old batch.

Firmware update was released? If not, when will be? Can we update the box OTA?

Esperare noticias gracias.
