Hi Guys, what’s up, this is Jack. Here is the Lytmi(Light Mi) weekly update.
1. First, for the color accuracy, there might be some misunderstanding. When we are talking the reproduction is accurate, we are not saying the reproduction is 100% identical with what’s on screen, especially under the HDR mode. As it works like this, though the colors on screen can all be captured by NEO sync box, the light strips are just unable to reproduce exactly the same colors due to the emitting principle of light strips is fundamentally different from that of the light-emitting components of the monitors or screens. To put it simple, the light strips can reproduce the colors mostly accurate but never 100% identical with what’s on screen, as the monitors can display far richer and finer colors due to its myriads of mini led beads densely allocated within the monitors, yet the light strips can only reproduce a single or a limited mixed color due to highly limited led beads within the light strips. This is can be easier to understand, if you compare the light strips to the color pens, and the on-screen colors as a colorful garden, even the most talented painter can’t reproduce the exactly same colorful garden with the limited amount of color pens. So to conclude, it’s can be almost the same at first look but not identical when subject to scrutiny. As to HDR reproduction, why it can hardly reach the effect of “almost the same”? There are basically two reasons: the lack of high contrast and the lack of high color displaying ability. The led beads of the Lytmi light strips are just some basic ones, not like those in the OLED TVs and LED TVs.
2. Second, for any those who are experiencing a dropout issue with the neo 2.0 sync box, you're welcomed to request a brief video call with our technical personnel who will instruct you on how to fix it, though not 100% sure it can be fixed, but at least better busy trying than busy waiting.

3. Third, it's still the same thing, anyone who knows any influencer, whether it's your spouse, your sibling, or distant relative, or former colleague, as long as he or she is influential somehow, then you're encouraged to recommend to us, and once the candidate reaches collaboration with us, you will receive certain bonus, so we can say that it's win-win-win situation.

I wait of a version, compatible with the fire tv cube, then I will buy.
I would also like to have an update on the Neo 2.1 box. Already asked on chat weeks ago, but you dont even get an answer. If this is how their support works, then it might be best to skip this product. False advertisement and no response at all. 👎
And again not a single word on Neo 2.1...
Hi Jack,
Sorry to say that its simply not true:
"HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and refers to contrast (or the difference) between the brightest and darkest parts of an image"
https://www.trustedreviews.com/opinion/hdr-tv-high-dynamic-television-explained-2927035
"HDR' stands for 'High Dynamic Range'. The term originates in photography, and refers to a technique to heighten a picture's dynamic range – the contrast levels between the brightest whites and the darkest blacks"
https://www.whathifi.com/us/advice/hdr-tv-what-it-how-can-you-get-it
So, Its not a problem with contrast in HDR as there is more, not less of it.
I think the problem is the interpretation of HDR signal and its translation to lights/colors sent to the light strips by NEO 2 box
I also understand that 100% color accuracy its not possible but showing white as blue, red or green and blacks often as dark green has nothing to do with 100% color accuracy. It simply shows the wrong colors.
Regards,
Ok so there is an issue in HDR and Dolby vision on most consumer devices. But why is it that in SDR mode the colours are more vibrant and more accurate? HDR Is meant to be more sharper and dynamic and deeper colour. is saturation not possible in HDR mode with colour?? cmon Lytmi team develop some good stuff to update software firmware on the app otherwise what’s the use of connecting to wifi through the app if it will not be updatabl. I still stand by your product and I still have hope that all issues will be resolved. Thanks
