I spotted another post on this forum and did some digging. My conclusions are that, unfortunately, we’ve all been conned. Take a look at AliExpress. There are countless versions of this exact same box and all at £50 cheaper. They use the exact same box, exact same strip and exact same app. Is it any wonder that we’re all having issues with this. And all the while, the “support” team pretend that they can fix the issues. Whether it’s with the UK’s satellite provider and the problems with HDCP handshake issues leading to blank screens and regular blacking out of the strip or issues with HDR and Dolby vision. We’ve been strung along with a generic box, not fit for purpose, being sold by others significantly cheaper. This was my first and last purchase from Lytmi or whatever they are called. Reselling third rate tat that isn’t fit for purpose. What a con. What a disgrace.

Received the splitter today. I am no longer getting the regular black screen but I am seeing the Lytmi colour strip go black then switch back on after a few seconds instead. Very annoying. I have been offered a replacement box and am waiting for it. If this doesn’t work. It will all be returned for a refund. It’s so disappointing but I guess you get what you pay for. EDIT - It’s now doing a complete meltdown every half hour where the picture goes black, the LG C1 brings up a no signal screen saver then it takes 20 seconds for the screen to come back.
