I figured it out: you need to use smart life app instead of the Lightmi. it works well with Alexa and other software that has support for Tuya IOT Platform.

Never mind, I figured it out. Had to reset the device and pair again with the new app. Works like a charm. Was also able to add it to the Tuya IOT Platform and use it in home assistant.

you have "app name" in the PDF. It's the same in the guide in the app. I think you forgot to replace it with an actual skill name when you received this guide from tuya. Can you tell us what the actually skill name is?

I'd suggest you guys build a public API so we could integrate it with other software like Home Assistant. When is this going to be available? Can we join the beta program?
